Fire Alarm Flame Detector For Petrochemical Refineries And Chemical Plants
Introduction
Infrared (IR) flame detectors are specialized sensors designed to
detect the presence of flames by identifying the unique infrared
light signature produced by combustion. These devices are widely
used in industrial and commercial applications to provide early
warning of potential fire hazards.
Suitable places
1. Transportation, storage, production and other places for
flammable goods;
2. Substation facilities, engine room, power station environments;
3. Places where open flames are strictly prohibited, such as
liquefied gas stations, garages, gas stations, etc
4. Harsh environment and other environment where the other kind
detectors are difficult to function.
Not suitable place
1. There is obvious smouldering stage in the early stage of fire;
2, there are often strong arc light, radioactive materials, and
strong infrared radiation.

Instruction
The green work indicator is steady on at the normal situation.
when the fire is found, The red alarm indicator is steady on. At
the same time, the fire alarm relay is closed and the yellow/white
lines are conductive, output the fire alarm signal.
The detector is a non-coding detector, which needs to connect the
interface module when it is connected to the bus system.
Wiring Instruction
Red/black: 24V power line
Yellow/white:Alarm relay ouput, it is closed, normally open.
Blue/green:Fault relay output, it’s open, normally closed.
Maintenance:
In order to keep in good work situation, it need arrange test to
the flame detector every 3 months at least. Once the detector is
damaged or not working properly, need to repaire or replace
accordingly.
